Did you know? For a city of 4.5 million people, Kathmandu has only 84 public toilets. That is less than one toilet for 50,000 people. This should change!

On this World Toilet Day, KLL launches a public initiative whereby we are mapping public toilets and publicly accessible toilets in and around Kathmandu. Here's how you can help:

  • Add a publicly accessible toilet to this map using this easy platform developed by Kathmandu Living Labs.
  • Share this initiative on your social media such as Facebook and Twitter, or blog about it. #MakeToiletsAccessible #TMI #LetsLocateLoos
  • Share your individual story related to public toilets and inspire others to contribute to this initiative.
  • Provide access to the toilets in your business enterprises, such as restaurants or shops. Oh! And don’t forget to add it to this map so that people know about your generosity.
