The U.S. Department of State and Kathmandu Living Labs are jointly organizing the Air Quality South Asia TechCamp 2019 on 30th and 31st July in Kathmandu, Nepal.
The TechCamp will bring 60 outstanding people from South Asia to engage with world class trainers through a series of training and brainstorming sessions. The participants include promising young leaders, prominent civil society and NGO leaders, journalists working on environmental issues, social media influencers and bloggers, private sector innovators (including business incubators, entrepreneurs, and corporate social responsibility leaders) and government officials.
The TechCamp aims at building the capacity of emerging leaders to help them educate the public about the various facets of air quality problem—political, social, and scientific—and spur action towards solutions. The TechCamp also aims at fostering the network among educated influencers that aid in sharing of information and collaboration on air quality solutions at the local, national, and regional levels.
